Here at King Road Stables we are away from all the hustle and bustle of daily life. Our horses are well suited for everyone’s wants. No experience necessary as we will choose a horse for you that will be suited for your experience level Our 40 acre horse facility is located in Blue River, Oregon, just 45 minutes east of Eugene. We are in the heart of the McKenzie River recreation area. We are set back in the woods in a beautiful park like setting with ponds and creeks and natural wildlife. It is the perfect place to ride and have a wonderful horse experience.
Our facilities include acres of open pasture, a fully enclosed covered arena, round pen, matted stalls with turnouts. Enjoy our trails or miles of forest service trails.
Visitors to the area enjoy our one-of-a-kind, Horse Experience a lesson ride package that will educate and entertain.We also offer private and semi-private lessons, boarding, 4H clubs, horse leases and more.

Lessons
Tots Club Ages 5 to 15
Children are placed into classes based on their riding ability. The core skills of these lessons are learning balance, control and confidence. Another part of the lesson program includes ring etiquette and horseback trail riding.
Adult Club
Adults are taught horseback riding by combining safety with a sense of humor. We teach the beginning adult, the adult returning to riding after many years and the adult to improve his/her riding skills.
Horseback riding is a great stress reliever and a super way to have fun!
Boarding
In addition to the exceptional array of natural equine services offered by King Road Ranch, our horse boarding facility now has stalls/stables available for short stays, overnight boarding, extended stays for your horse.
We welcome all breeds & sizes at our equine boarding facility – Our caring & professional staff are both familiar with & proficient in the care of horses, with each personally trained in giving the best possible treatment to each horse during its stay. On-site owners and staff both perform daily inspections on all aspects of the facility, and are certified in horse safety & first aid.
While boarding with us, horses and their owners can enjoy 40 acres of beautiful countryside, as well as miles of country riding trails in the nearby surrounding area, no trailering required! When indoor riding is preferred, We also have a 100' by 70' indoor lighted arena.
Kings Centurion, son of Centurion Command and King Dry Doll, is a very gentle and loving Stallion. He is gentle and easy to handle .
Here at King Road Ranch and Stables we practice natural breeding. King and your mare are left at pasture during her cycle to breed the natural way.
Breeding Fees are $400
Mare Care $5.00 per day

Directions
We are located in the beautiful Mckenzie River recreation area. Head east on Hwy 126 from Eugene to mile post 46 just past it you will see Mckenzie River Rd. turn right. Go to King Rd. ( Covered Bridge) turn right go across bridge at the stop sign turn right follow W.King Rd. till you see the white vinyl fencing, turn into the drive and go straight to the barn.
